Macpac Women's Fitzroy Alpine Series Softshell Pants

Designed and tested in partnership with the New Zealand Alpine Team (NZAT), the Fitzroy's are the ultimate softshell pants for technical mountaineering and alpine hiking. A pillar of our Alpine Series, the Fitzroy outerwear range offers flexible protection in harsh environments. Wind and water resistant, these softshell pants have a durable and stretchy polyester/elastane construction with a warm fleece backing and a short-chain DWR C6 fabric finish to help repel moisture. Combining comfort with protection, the fabric is breathable with a 5,000 g/m-/24hr breathability rating and water resistant with a 10,000 mm hydrostatic heading rating - please note, that despite the HH rating, these pants are not seam sealed so we class them as water resistant, not waterproof. They have a soft, lined waistband, slim fit with a tapered leg and boot-compatible cuff with an internal grip band, boot hook and tie down loops - ideal for snowy conditions.
