Macpac Alpine Legionnaire Hat

Made for the mountains, this Alpine Legionnaire Hat was designed and tested in partnership with the New Zealand Alpine Team for maximum protection in harsh environments. It has a detachable, full wrap around neck flap that covers the back of the neck and lower face with a Velcro tab near the chin and an adjustable neck drawcord, as well as two top domes, one on each side of the brim, to cover the sides of the face. For increased ventilation, it has mesh panelling through the forehead and two air vents at the top of the head, while a rear size adjustment allows for a personalised fit. Plus a pony tail flap allows those with longer hair to pull their pony tail through the back of the hat for increased comfort while climbing, ski touring or hiking in the mountains.
